  1. Berkeley saved my life. I’m from a gang bangin neighborhood and if not for Berkeley, I would’ve been completely submerged in the same activities. Berkeley provided an opportunity to be a student of jazz. I owe him so much. I love him dearly and sincerely.

  2. Performing with Berk was a staple in my life that I will always remember. I didnt play sax I played trombone but he showed me how to put that smooth soul into that instrument. I am thankful and honored to have been one of his students. Thank you Berkley for inspiring and teaching the youth. You have touched so many lives and motivated so many.
