Promoting jazz and creative music in Milwaukee, WI
I studied with both those guys when I was 18 and 19 years old. Each one had his own unique way of playing the guitar. Don was a chord master and was great at reading and harmonizing melodies. George was a very fast single note player on the entire neck. Together they knew about everything there was to know on the guitar at that time. I still use the great pick George told me to use. He was right. It is the best pick made: (Moshay). I was very fortunate to have them as teachers.

I didn’t know Don, but George was a friend of my old man & would come to the house once in a while. I was going to take a few classical lessons from George but couldn’t keep up/too young at the time. Pritch was fantastic! Will never forget those facial contortions.
